When closing the wound in the donor area, Dr Markou utilizes a laser assisted trichophytic closure that he developed.  Dr Markou is the only one in the world utilizing the laser to perform a trichophytic closure that allows hair to grow through the scar and make the scar barely detectable.  Below is a typical result of what a Laser Trichophytic Closure looks like.  Note that this is not the same as a traditional trichophytic closure performed by surgical scissors.
